Privacy Policy

I.1Data the App Accesses on Your Device

When you connect LIMEN to a compatible Bluetooth OBD adapter, the App reads diagnostic values published by your vehicle, including transmission fluid temperature, transmission speed and load values, transmission clutch adaptation values, and the vehicle odometer reading. It writes session logs and checkup history to storage that is private to the App.

This information is accessed and stored locally only. It is never transmitted to ORDYNAIRE or to any third party, and it is not personal or sensitive user data as defined by Google Play: it describes the mechanical state of a vehicle, is not linked to any identifier or account, and never leaves your device unless you choose to export it (see I.5).

I.2Permissions and Why They Are Requested

LIMEN requests only the permissions its core function requires:

LIMEN does not request access to contacts, photos, media, files, the microphone, the camera, call logs, SMS, health data, or the inventory of other installed apps.

I.3Data the App Does Not Collect

LIMEN does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, payment information, government identifiers, contacts, photographs, or biometric data. It does not collect your geographic location. It does not collect or link persistent device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or the App Set ID. It contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking code of any kind.

I.4Sharing, Transfer, and Sale

ORDYNAIRE shares no user data from the App with any party, because no user data is transmitted from the App at all. There are no service providers, advertising partners, analytics providers, or data brokers involved in the App’s operation.

ORDYNAIRE does not sell personal or sensitive user data, and does not share it for advertising, personalization, or measurement purposes. We hold no such data to sell.

I.5User-Initiated Export

LIMEN can produce reports and logs (for example a session log or a clutch checkup report) that you may choose to save or send. These files leave your device only when you initiate the action and only to the destination you select, using Android’s own system dialog. ORDYNAIRE receives no copy. Once a file is in the hands of another application or service, that recipient’s privacy practices govern it.

I.6Secure Data Handling

Our security approach begins with not holding your data at all. Specifically:

No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, but by design LIMEN minimizes exposure: data that is never collected, never transmitted, and never stored on a server cannot be lost by us.

I.7Data Retention and Deletion

Retention. Data created by the App remains on your device for as long as the App is installed, or until you remove it. ORDYNAIRE retains nothing, because ORDYNAIRE receives nothing. We operate no server that stores App data, and therefore hold no backups, archives, or logs of it.

Deletion. You may delete all App data at any time, entirely under your own control, by either clearing the App’s storage through your device settings (Settings → Apps → LIMEN → Storage → Clear data) or uninstalling the App, which removes its private storage. Deletion is immediate and complete; no request to us is necessary, and no copy survives elsewhere. Files you exported yourself are yours to manage wherever you sent them.

Accounts. The App does not offer account creation. Because there is no account, there is no account deletion process; there is also no account data, profile, or history held by ORDYNAIRE to delete.

I.8Distribution Through Google Play

The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Your download, purchase, and use of Google Play, and any diagnostic information Google collects through the Android platform or Play services, are governed by Google’s own privacy policy and are outside ORDYNAIRE’s control. ORDYNAIRE receives from Google only aggregate, non-identifying statistics that Google makes available to developers, such as install counts and anonymized stability reports.

I.9Children

LIMEN is a vehicle utility intended for licensed drivers and vehicle owners. It is not directed at children, is not designed for or targeted to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not enrolled in Google Play’s Designed for Families program.

II.1No Accounts, No Submitted Content

ordynaire.com presents information about ORDYNAIRE and its work. It offers no accounts, profiles, sign-in, or feature that asks you to submit content. We collect no names, email addresses, photographs, or other personal information through the Site.

II.2Cookies and Browser Storage

We use no advertising cookies, marketing trackers, analytics profiling, or cross-site tracking of any kind. The Site stores a single temporary technical flag in your browser, used solely to clear an outdated offline cache left by a previous version of the Site. It contains no personal information and is discarded when you close the browser. Because no non-essential storage is used, no cookie-consent banner is required.

II.3Hosting and Server Records

The Site is delivered by our hosting provider, which — as all web hosts do — automatically processes standard technical request records such as IP address, browser type, and page requested. These exist to deliver the Site, keep it available, and protect it from abuse, and are retained by the provider for a limited period. We do not use them to identify visitors or build audience profiles.

II.4Links to Other Services

The Site links to external services, including our social media profiles and the store listing where LIMEN is distributed. Once you follow such a link, the destination service’s privacy policy governs your visit. We neither control nor take responsibility for their practices.

II.5Future Commerce

ORDYNAIRE intends to sell products directly in future. No purchases are offered through the Site today, and no payment or order information is collected. When commerce launches, payment processing will be handled by an established third-party payment processor that manages card details directly under its own privacy policy; ORDYNAIRE does not intend to collect or store full payment card numbers. This policy will be updated to describe those practices before any purchase feature becomes available.

II.6Children

The Site is intended for a general adult audience, is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

III.1Controller and Legal Bases

ORDYNAIRE LLC is the data controller for any processing described in this policy. For the App, ORDYNAIRE performs no processing of personal data, as none is transmitted to us. For the Site, the limited technical records described in II.3 are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR) in delivering a secure, functioning website. We carry out no automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

III.2Your Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU and UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

In practice, these rights are largely satisfied by design: we hold no personal data about App users, and none about Site visitors beyond the transient technical records described above. Data held on your own device is deleted directly by you at any time, as described in I.7 — no request required. For anything further, contact us using the details in III.6 and we will respond as applicable law requires.

III.3United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. ORDYNAIRE does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising; we do not collect the categories of personal information those laws enumerate, do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out, and do not offer financial incentives for data. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

III.4International Users

ORDYNAIRE is based in the United States. Because the App transmits no data, no international transfer of App data occurs. Site hosting infrastructure may be distributed internationally; where such processing involves personal data originating in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, it is carried out under appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

III.5Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how the App handles data, we will describe it in the App’s release notes and update the Data safety information on the App’s store listing before the change takes effect. Material changes affecting the Site will be posted here before taking effect.
